Description
The NAD+ glutathione infusion is enriched with nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+), an important coenzyme in cell metabolism. NAD+ plays a central role in the cells' energy production, from the respiratory chain to redox reactions, and as NADH, its reduced form, may support the production of dopamine and noradrenaline. NAD+ is also involved in various processes in the brain and is considered an essential part of the cells' antioxidant mechanisms.
The infusion may, among other things, help support the cells in their natural regeneration processes and promote cell functions. It is always tailored individually, based on factors such as body weight, age and sex. To maximise tolerability and ensure even absorption, the infusion is given slowly and gently over about three hours.
Please note: because of its intensive effect on the body, temporary side effects such as nausea, headache or general discomfort may occur during the infusion. It is therefore always given under careful medical supervision.
Possible ingredients
NAD+
Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, known as NAD, is of great importance for the metabolism of all organisms. It is involved from the start of the respiratory chain through reversible hydrogen uptake to energy production. As NADH, its reduced form, it acts as a reducing agent in living organisms, takes part in many redox reactions in cells and may increase the production of dopamine and noradrenaline. It is also considered a fundamental substance involved in various processes in the brain, and is thought to be an important part of the antioxidant system of brain cells that may possibly be involved in slowing the ageing process.
Sodium chloride (NaCl)
Salt, i.e. sodium chloride (NaCl), is vital for the human body. Table salt is the main source of sodium and chloride, which are essential for fluid balance, the nervous system and blood pressure regulation. Sodium chloride protects cells from drying out and is responsible for passing on signals in nerve cells. No cell in our body could exist without salt.
Glutathione
Glutathione is a sulphur-containing tripeptide made of glutamic acid, glycine and cysteine. It is produced in the liver, is an important water-soluble cellular antioxidant and an important enzyme cofactor, and is present in every cell of the body. Glutathione is involved in many metabolic processes: it protects the structure of proteins, promotes the transport of amino acids through cell membranes and plays an outstanding role in the antioxidant protection system. As a co-substrate of glutathione peroxidase it neutralises peroxides that inevitably occur in the body and increase under oxidative stress, protecting cell and mitochondrial membranes from damage by reactive oxygen species. Glutathione also helps convert oxidised vitamins C and E back into their active form and helps immune cells form leukotrienes, which control white blood cell functions during immune responses.
Who is the NAD+ Glutathione Infusion suitable for?
The NAD+ glutathione infusion is suitable if you want to support your body's supply of important coenzymes and antioxidants in a targeted way. It can help people who want to optimise their cellular metabolic processes and promote their ability to regenerate.
Thanks to the individual dosage and the slow, gentle intravenous administration, the infusion can be absorbed particularly efficiently.
* The exact composition and dosage are tailored to you individually after the medical health check.
Preparing for your appointment
