Description
The athletic booster infusion combines vitamins, amino acids and electrolytes to support your body at cell level. Ingredients such as vitamin C, L-carnitine, taurine, L-arginine, L-lysine, L-carnosine, adenosylcobalamin, B complex, B12 Triple, glutathione and potassium-magnesium are intended to support energy production, recovery and metabolism.
Given intravenously, the active ingredients go straight into your bloodstream and are immediately available to your body. This way the infusion can act quickly and help support concentration, energy and endurance in phases of high strain or after intensive training sessions.
Possible ingredients
Sodium chloride (NaCl)
Salt, i.e. sodium chloride (NaCl), is vital for the human body. Table salt is the main source of sodium and chloride, which are essential for fluid balance, the nervous system and blood pressure regulation. Sodium chloride protects cells from drying out and is responsible for passing on signals in nerve cells. No cell in our body could exist without salt.
Vitamin C
Vitamin C, also called ascorbic acid, is one of the best-known vitamins. It acts as a strong antioxidant and protects cells from free radicals. It also supports the normal function of the immune system, especially during and after physical exertion, and plays an important role in collagen formation – for skin, bones, teeth and blood vessels. Vitamin C is also important for energy metabolism, psychological function and the nervous system. It helps to reduce tiredness, improves iron absorption and regenerates the reduced form of vitamin E. Older people and smokers in particular should make sure they get enough, as they are more often deficient. Vitamin C is found mainly in fresh vegetables and fruit such as peppers, citrus fruit, berries and kiwis.
Taurine
Taurine is an amino acid that plays an important role in the body, particularly in supporting heart function, muscle regeneration and stable fluid balance. It is needed in various metabolic processes and may support performance and general vitality. Taurine is known especially for its antioxidant properties and is often used to help the body balance energy and strain.
L-lysine
L-lysine is an essential amino acid that supports muscle building and contributes to the regeneration of tissue and muscles. It also helps maintain the body's protein stores and plays an important role in the immune system.
L-arginine
L-arginine is an amino acid that improves blood circulation and promotes the production of nitric oxide, which may increase performance. At the same time, L-arginine supports regeneration after physical exertion and contributes to cardiovascular health.
L-carnitine
L-carnitine supports the transport of fatty acids into the mitochondria, where they are converted into energy. In this way it helps the body produce energy more efficiently and may improve endurance.
Potassium-magnesium electrolyte solution
The potassium-magnesium electrolyte solution regulates fluid balance and supports optimal muscle function. It also helps prevent muscle cramps and supports recovery after intense physical exertion.
L-carnosine
L-carnosine acts as a strong antioxidant that reduces oxidative stress and protects cells from damage. It may also increase muscle resilience and improve physical performance.
Adenosylcobalamin
Adenosylcobalamin is the active form of vitamin B12 that is used directly in energy and metabolic processes. It supports cell production and nerve function and contributes to general vitality.
Vitamin B12 Triple
Vitamin B12 Triple supports cell metabolism, blood formation and the function of the nervous system. It may therefore help to increase energy, reduce tiredness and support mental performance.
Glutathione
Glutathione is a sulphur-containing tripeptide made of glutamic acid, glycine and cysteine. It is produced in the liver, is an important water-soluble cellular antioxidant and an important enzyme cofactor, and is present in every cell of the body. Glutathione is involved in many metabolic processes: it protects the structure of proteins, promotes the transport of amino acids through cell membranes and plays an outstanding role in the antioxidant protection system. As a co-substrate of glutathione peroxidase it neutralises peroxides that inevitably occur in the body and increase under oxidative stress, protecting cell and mitochondrial membranes from damage by reactive oxygen species. Glutathione also helps convert oxidised vitamins C and E back into their active form and helps immune cells form leukotrienes, which control white blood cell functions during immune responses.
Who is the Athletic Booster Infusion suitable for?
The infusion is suitable for active people, competitive athletes and anyone going through phases of high strain who wants to support their body's energy, concentration and recovery in a targeted way. Given directly into the vein, the ingredients can be absorbed efficiently and may help the body regain its performance quickly.
